SRS was proudly chosen to deliver the unique roofing and ceiling system for the multi award winning Desert Cave Hotel in Coober Pedy. The extreme environment with scorching hot days in summer called for a solution that could deliver unparalleled insulation values to counter the harsh conditions. To this end SRS designed and installed over 1,000m2 roofing and ceiling system combining the built up Stramit Durra Beam and Durra Board system.

The project involved Luxotex Durra board and Luxotex acoustic Durra board being installed on Stramit 'I' beams with Stramit Speedeck roofing. This was all complimented by the Stramit colorbond 200 fascia panel cladding to entire perimeter.
