Specialised Roofing Systems Pty Ltd was founded in 1978 conducting operations as a major roofing and ceiling contractor and supplier for over 40 years.
Since its inception, and as a leading South Australian company operating in the building industry, Specialised Roofing Systems Pty Ltd has successfully completed more than 4,500 projects varying in scale and size.
Throughout its development and with a team of highly trained, experienced and motivated personnel, Specialised Roofing Systems has undertaken and completed an impressive range of roofing and ceiling projects. MEET THE FOUNDING DIRECTOR
Julian F Stefani AM
Julian has had over sixty years experience in the construction industry. After obtaining accounting qualifications Julian became State Manager of a large local plumbing and roofing company at 24 years of age, and then again later as State Manager of Stramit Industries. This was followed by his appointment to the Board of Directors of publicly listed Stramit Industries at the age of 34. In 1978 Julian established Specialised Roofing Systems and to this day he remains actively involved in the oldest commercial roofing company in SA. In 1988 Julian entered state politics by becoming a Legislative Councillor in the Upper House of Parliament representing the Liberal Party where he served for 18 years. Julian has twice been acknowledged in the Australian Honours receiving an OAM in 1981 and more recently an AM in 2017. Julian has served on numerous boards and charities and has also received many accolades and awards for his work. Julian is also a Justice of the Peace.
MEET THE DIRECTORS
Julian Stefani B.App.Sc.Ag.
Holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agriculture with extensive involvement in management and operations including previous experience and roles in publicly listed companies and Government Agencies in the Northern Territory.
Julian is responsible for overall management of operations and financial management with accountability reporting to the board.
Roofing and Ceilings operations management with over 27 years service with the Company, including the involvement in several award winning projects.
